I am now in my thirteenth year of not only being the Overpark Elementary physical education teacher but also the coach of the Center Hill High School Mustangs  track & field team. I am a native of Yazoo City, Mississippi I graduated from Benton Academy in 1994 where I lettered in football, basketball, track, tennis, and baseball.  I received my associate degree from Holmes Community in 1997. I received my bachelor's degree in teaching and coaching from Mississippi State University in 2000 and a master's degree in teaching and coaching from Mississippi State in 2002. I was a three sport letterman winner at Holmes Community College from 1996-1997.  I also lettered in Track and Field at Mississippi State University where I was a member of the track team from 1997-1999. I began my teaching and coaching career at Mississippi State University as the administrative assistant coach in 2000. I then moved on to Jacksonville State University from 2003-2005, Bevill State Community College from 2005-2006 and Troy University from 2006-2008.

 Face time a friend and sit and talk and laugh for 60'mins. You will be amazed how much better you feel afterwards.

 With both hand, hold a can of soup above your head.  Bend your elbows. This works your triceps.

Jog in place 1' minute for each unhealthy food you ate today (chips, candy bar, soda or candy!).

Practice dribbling two balls at the same time. Can you move and maintain control?  Can you cross over?

Work on jumping high in the air and touching your toes. Can you touch them when your legs are pointed? Apart?

 

Holding a large can above your head, bend and touch the can to the floor 12 times.

Time yourself  while tying your shoes.  Try to get faster each time.For every sec do one pushup

Be thankflul you can read. Read for 10' minutes. Do 10 jumping jacks each time you turn the page.

 

Practice jumping in the air 10 times doing star drill. Try to have your feet and legs together when you land.

Holding a soup can in each hand, do waist twists.  Do 20 twists. Can you do 20 more twist?

Practice bouncing a ball. Can you do 3 push-ups before it comes to a stop? Five? Ten?

Find 6 paper or plastic cups.  See how quickly you can up stack and down stack them in a pyramid pattern.

Time yourself for 10 second doing sit-ups. How many did you do? ___________

Try to beat your score.

Do 30 of your fastest punches in a safe spot. Rest and do 24 kicks. How many did you do total? ___________
